Dell Technologies plans to generate an innovation ecosystem with local businesses and startups to digitize citizen offerings since the technology leader bets huge on smart city projects within India.

Such smart city projects will create “humongous amount” of information, making investment opportunities for large enterprises and startups, stated Amit Midha, executive vice president, Global Digital Cities, Dell.
Dell partnered with Pune Smart City Development Corporation previous month to create an innovation centre in the community. The company claimed the centre would perform as the starting for making use of emerging technologies to resolve problems like reducing traffic violations through technologies or even ensuring much faster citizen services.
