The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of statistics, time series forecasting, and optimization methodologies. They must demonstrate the ability to derive meaningful, data-driven insights supported by statistical concepts and apply them across various facets of the Supply Chain domain. Additionally, the candidate is expected to leverage their data science expertise to address clients’ business challenges within the supply chain sphere. Furthermore, the role entails contributing to asset development initiatives.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in data modeling acquired through hands-on experience in client projects.
- Extensive utilization of data-driven techniques, including exploratory data analysis and data pre-processing, to tackle business challenges effectively.
- Strong command of Python/PySpark programming for data manipulation, visualization, and the implementation of machine learning models.
- Proficiency in at least one Cloud solution: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Mastery of SQL for data preparation, manipulation, and descriptive analysis.
- Deep understanding of the supply chain domain.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Simulation and Optimization.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Exposure to tools like BY, Anaplan, o9, Kinaxis, or SAP IBP.
- Previous interaction with clients.
- Familiarity with business platforms like o9, Kinaxis, or BY.
