Job Description:

1. Cloud Architecture and Design:

• Crafting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on Azure.
• Implementing solutions that align with business needs.

2. Environment Setup:

• Establishing test and production environments on Azure, ensuring adherence to performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Configuring networking, virtual machines, storage, and other Azure resources.

3. Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define and manage cloud resource budgets.
• Monitoring and optimizing resource usage to manage costs effectively.
• Implementing cost-saving strategies and adhering to best practices.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Enforcing security best practices and compliance requirements within Azure environments.
• Conducting routine security assessments and audits.
• Managing identity and access controls.

5. Automation and Scripting:

• Utilizing automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates) to streamline deployment and management processes.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.

6. Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

• Deploying monitoring solutions to track Azure resource health and performance.
• Identifying and resolving performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Implementing scaling strategies for optimal resource utilization.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Effectively communicating with team members and providing comprehensive documentation for solutions and configurations.

8. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Designing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Conducting regular testing of disaster recovery procedures.

9. Troubleshooting and Support:

• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues promptly.
• Participating in on-call rotations for critical incidents.

10. Continuous Learning:

• Pursuing relevant certifications to enhance skills and knowledge.

11. Capacity Planning:

• Conducting capacity planning to ensure Azure resources can accommodate future growth.
• Scaling resources based on demand and usage patterns.

12. Collaboration with DevOps Practices:

• Integrating Azure services into DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
