Job Description:

At Deloitte, the role of a Consultant or Sr. Consultant entails managing specific sub-work streams within broader projects. Consultants and Sr. Consultants report to team leads/managers and are accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the allocated sub-work streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop various components of Angular web applications, including Components, Directives, Pipes, and Services, ensuring adherence to best practices for developing maintainable, modular, and testable code.
  • Ensure quality excellence and cross-browser/device compatibility of applications.
  • Create and execute unit test cases using automation tools like Karma and Jasmine.
  • Collaborate with UI designers, UI developers, and backend developers to identify risks and resolve dependencies.
  • Follow Agile processes, participate in ceremonies, and adhere to the incremental delivery model.
  • Mentor and guide team members in the absence of the lead.

Technical Experience:

  • Proficiency in Web Application Development with expertise in component-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of ECMAScript, TypeScript, Angular, and MVC models.
  • Deep expertise in Angular and commonly used modules.
  • Experience in developing self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  • Good grasp of cross-browser compatibility issues and Polyfills.
  • Proficiency in distributed code repositories like Git, Github, Bitbucket, TFS.
  • Familiarity with unit testing tools like Karma and Jasmine.
  • Knowledge of package managers and ability to resolve dependencies.
  • Understanding of responsive web development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) and CSS Pre-processors like SASS.
  • Familiarity with SDLC.

Qualifications:

  • Sr. Consultant: 6+ years of experience.
  • Consultant: 3+ years of experience.
  • Professional Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS.
