Job Description:

  • Lead the pivotal role in steering cloud adoption and transformation within the organization, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Require 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Certified – Security Engineer are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA.
  • Proficiency in Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Security Command Centre, Cloud Armor, Event Threat Detection, and Cloud Data Loss Prevention.
  • Proficient in managing GCP’s firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, and security groups.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Monitoring.
  • Well-versed in implementing DevOps principles and practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and configuration management.
  • Expertise in utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker to build robust and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting and utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible to ensure consistent and reproducible infrastructure configurations.
  • Extensive experience in setting up monitoring and alerting solutions on GCP to track the health, performance, and availability of cloud resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and GCP services.
  • GCP Security Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP security services, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Command Center, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Security Scanner, and Cloud Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Implement GCP security best practices to ensure a secure cloud environment.
  • Cloud Security Architecture: Strong understanding of cloud security architecture principles and ability to design secure and scalable architectures on GCP. This includes network security, data encryption, key management, identity and access management, and secure communication protocols.
  • Compliance and Governance: Proficiency in compliance frameworks and industry regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001. Assess and implement security controls to ensure compliance with these standards. Experience in implementing governance frameworks and security policies to maintain a secure and well-managed GCP environment.
  • Threat Detection and Incident Response, Secure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Security Automation and Orchestration, Security Auditing and Compliance Reporting, Collaboration, and Communication, etc.
