Exciting Opportunities Await:

As part of our inclusive team, you’ll drive technical excellence and reliability within American Express’s Service Operations. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Develop Java-based applications for real-time fraud prevention, enhancing our Fraud Risk Portal.
• Provide technical solutions and architectural recommendations, ensuring compliance and process conformance.
• Analyze and improve system performance, driving continuous enhancements to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enhance operational data warehouse processes.
• Automate processes and execute improvements to optimize efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Java development experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting 24/7 operations with on-call responsibilities.
• Proficiency in monitoring technologies and logging frameworks.
• Knowledge of platform engineering, architecture, and system design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Kafka, Angular/React, Couchbase, MySQL, Big Data tools, and scripting languages.
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK/Kibana, load testing tools, and cloud technologies.
