We are seeking an experienced individual for the role of Data Science Manager in Supply Chain Planning. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both supply chain operations and data science.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the solution architecture, design, development, deployment, delivery, and monitoring of advanced analytics models for various aspects of supply chain planning, including demand forecasting, supply optimization, procurement strategies, inventory management, and spare parts planning.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their engineering and business challenges, translating them into analytics problems that generate actionable insights and operational enhancements.
- Take initiative in collaborating with internal Accenture teams to drive sales and support client engagements.
- Provide innovation and thought leadership to enhance key capability areas such as tools and technologies, new solutions in supply chain planning, and the development of assets and accelerators.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum 7-9 years of experience in industrial/consulting or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions for supply chain management. Global client experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or equivalent.
- Certifications in one or more of the following areas are advantageous: Python, AI/ML, Optimization, Simulation, cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS).
