Principal Software Engineer – Golang – MakeMyTrip

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all aspects of software development, encompassing design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
• Develop cutting-edge scalable systems by crafting simple and efficient code.
• Push the boundaries of design and architecture for new product development.
• Collaborate with product managers and other key stakeholders within the MMT family to execute projects successfully.
• Ensure compliance with build/release and configuration management processes.
• Maintain the ongoing functionality of our application back-end.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Agile Methodology, Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, and Responsive Designs.
• Hands-on experience with GoLang, delivering exceptional results across multiple browsers/platforms.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Excel in complex environments and embrace collaboration to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
• Previous experience in a product/start-up company is a plus.
