Python Intern – Web Scraping – CashKaro

Job Description:

CashKaro and EarnKaro are two of India’s fastest-growing B2C products, revolutionizing how businesses acquire customers and drive sales. As key marketing partners to leading eCommerce giants like Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, Myntra, and many others, we have garnered significant traction. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the price comparison section on CashKaro.
• Develop new web scrapers across various eCommerce platforms and integrate them into the existing setup.
• Continuously improve the core product, exploring new technologies to enhance the efficiency and speed of our scrapers.
• Integrate crawled and scraped data into our databases/Google Sheets, while avoiding blocking of scrapers (bypass CAPTCHA).
• Take ownership of the scrapers, ensuring nearly 100% uptime and price accuracy.
• Develop intelligent automation tools using Selenium and other confidential technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in Python and web scraping, with knowledge of Scrapy being advantageous.
• Strong understanding of multiprocessing and asynchronous mechanisms.
• Experience with at least one web scraping framework like Selenium or Beautifulsoup.
• Familiarity with various Python libraries, APIs, and toolkits.
• Ability to read data from and write to Excel files, and proficiency in the Pandas library.
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Background in Computer Science/IT with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
