Software Development Engineer II – Android/iOS- Reliance Industries

As a Mobile App Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of iPhone/iPad applications. You’ll oversee the entire app lifecycle from concept to delivery and provide post-launch support. These apps will primarily focus on content and commerce, tightly integrated with our core eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug mobile applications according to specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the backend development and UX design teams to implement mobile product requirements.
• Create reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks and stay updated on the latest technologies.
• Provide insights to management on the implementation of specific mobile platforms.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our mobile products.
• Utilize your top-notch engineering skills to craft innovative mobile apps.

Requirements:

• Design and construct advanced applications for iOS.
• Have prior experience publishing one or more iOS apps in the app store.
• Proficiency in either Objective-C or Swift, along with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.).
• Expertise in iOS Application Development using Xcode, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.
• Experience with device/server communications via JSON, XML, and/or HTML through REST/Web Service.
• Familiarity with agile methodology.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Awareness of user experience and usability aspects.
