Cricbuzz, India’s premier destination for cricket coverage, offers comprehensive coverage of international, domestic, and T20 leagues from across the globe. Our mobile applications for Android and iOS are the top cricket apps on their respective platforms.

The Android team at Cricbuzz is an integral part of our cross-platform effort to build the next generation of Cricbuzz. We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team in Bengaluru.
Desired Experience: 4 – 6 years.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a small cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers to develop, test, and deploy new features.
- Take ownership of the product or feature from inception to delivery, including architecture, networking, storage, views, animations, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with the core engineering team to define view models and APIs that drive the features of the app.
- Provide guidance to the product management and design teams on the latest advancements in the Android ecosystem.
- Mentor junior members of the Android team and contribute to their professional growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing production apps using Kotlin.
- Strong background in MVVM application architecture.
- Experience in creating dynamic interactions using Jetpack components is advantageous.
- Familiarity with UI integration and automated testing methods.
- Excellent design skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to document and maintain architecture diagrams, design patterns, APIs, etc., and support others in doing the same.
- Ability to work independently with self-imposed schedules, projects, and deadlines.
