The module has activities, videos, and experiments that allow students to work through and discover various concepts of AI.
Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said the AI-based module was crucial since it had been targeted at younger children. ‘This is path-breaking, it includes playing and academics and our job are making things very interesting. We would like to make artificial intelligence a great fun so that children could enjoy it, they are able to evolve and study and take India forward,’ stated Kant.
This is the first-ever industry-government academia initiative on a scale to always keep the school students abreast of latest technologies’, stated Mission Director Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog R Ramanan.
It’s been approximated that by 2030, the worldwide AI market is apt to have the range of $15-15.5 trillion, out of what India’s share is going to be close to $1 trillion.
Thus, AI has turned into a strategic lever for economic progress across nations and can go on to be probably the most essential technologies of the future. Learning AI will create a proper foundation for students to onboard future technologies and prepare them completely for the digital and AI era.
‘The partnership is a vital stage in creating citizens and a workforce that’s aware of AI and could work with AI. In this curriculum, students will receive benefits from technologies of several partner organizations like Microsoft, Adobe, Nasscom, Wipro, and SAP Labs among others, additional Nasscom president Debjani Ghosh.
An AI Step-up Module is under development which is going to take the curriculum to the next level.
