Almost 2 years back, I have held the position of a trainer at Besant Technologies, utilising my expertise and experience in the field. It has come to my attention that the institution charges students a fee ranging from 15 to 20k, but informs trainers that they have received only 10k, and offers a mere 35% of this amount, equivalent to 3.5k, as payment.
In addition, should we refuse to conduct classes under such unfavourable conditions, the institution resorts to compromising tactics by making false promises of two students in a single batch, thereby enticing trainers with an additional payment of 7000. However, once classes commence, only one student is present and excuses are provided for the absence of the promised second student. This manipulative behaviour is primarily exhibited by individuals such as Bala, Mahesh, Vivek, Muthu, Maruthu and Udhay. Of these individuals, Mahesh stands out as the worst offender due to his tendency to abruptly terminate calls without never calling back.

He recommended I switch my profile from sales to something else since sales were down during covid and companies was firing their employees to reduce their cost. It seemed very rational and logical. So I listened to him, and at that moment, he recommended me to DataTrained courses. He was pursuing an investment banking course from DataTrained. I went to their website and after so much discussion, I decided to take the Human Resources course since it fits my profile. They promised 100% placement assistance and they kept it. I highly advise against joining Coding Ninjas Data Science program. I made the mistake of doing so and I regret it. Trust me, there are much better resources available on YouTube and Leetcode that offer more comprehensive and effective materials. However, if you still insist on proceeding with this program, I suggest purchasing their DS (data structures) course and web development course for a whopping 30k (although I personally do not recommend it). But whatever you do, never make the mistake of signing up for their “career camp.”
If you come from a tier 2 or 3 college, my suggestion would be to take on a low paying job for 2-4 months instead. This may not sound glamorous, but it will greatly enhance your profile and improve your chances of securing a good job in the long run.
I made the mistake of paying monthly EMIs for 24 months to these people who did not deserve it at all. Even though I managed to secure a job on my own, I am made to pay them three Lacs. So disgusting!

Do not apply to Newton school. I share my experience below.
I applied after reading many advertisements on Instagram. It was a 6-month course, and they accepted 300 people in each batch. After 1 month, they stopped online classes for everyone except those from IITs – though I was in the top 4 of the batch. When I asked why, they said I didn’t have enough projects. They told me that if I wanted to continue, I’d need to pay 50K upfront – something I had confirmed before joining multiple times, but had been assured this wouldn’t be necessary until placement.
Many other people were told this too. Don’t believe it? Join and waste months to find out for yourself!
I was jobless so paid the amount and did 3 projects on my own. Whenever I needed help, their teachers told me to contact the teacher’s assistant – but they couldn’t solve my doubts either.
I requested multiple times but received no response. Despite this, I was able to continue my classes, though the teachers ceased answering my questions in lectures.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that some classes which were purported to be live were actually pre-recorded. The questions and doubts answered were from the previous batch of students. They had simply played the same video and pretended it was live for subsequent batches.
Despite this, I continued with the course for six months until they informed me that they could not refer me to any companies as my mentor hours did not meet their requirements. I sent them screenshots of emails where I had asked about doubt sessions and mentor hours, but they did not respond.
They then claimed that my projects were insufficient. I sent them my projects, which showed that I had completed most of them, but they stopped replying again. Consequently, I began preparing on my own and after seven months, a friend referred me to Rapido company and I got the job – without any help from their training.
I posted this on LinkedIn and received a call congratulating me the very next day, but that was for fee only.
I recently viewed a video of student reviews on the website for a certain company and, upon further research, I discovered that the person featured in the video was actually a college friend of one of the founders. It appeared to be an obvious case of fake reviews, which is why I believe that legal action should be taken against them for deceiving students and threatening us with legal action.
I had been receiving calls from them almost everyday with regards to payment. When I told them to take legal action against me, I made sure to take screenshots and videos of this fake review from their website as evidence in case they decided to delete it. As it turns out, this fraudulent review is still on their website today – a testament to their unethical practices.
If you want to waste six months of your life then by all means join them. But bear in mind that they may attempt to post more fake reviews on Quora and get false upvotes in order to make my questions spam.
