See lessOur batch started with around 35 to 40 students, and now only about 10 of us are left. The majority of students, including myself, came from non-tech backgrounds. The sales team at Coding Invaders made it sound like this course would be our ticket into the data analytics field, but unfortunately, that was far from the truth.
One of the biggest selling points they pushed was their fee refund policy, which promises a full refund if you don’t get placed. But here’s the catch: you can only get a refund if you complete all the course modules (which is an overwhelming task), attend every single online session, and pass their mock interviews. These mock interviews are designed in a way that most students fail, making it nearly impossible to claim a refund.
To make things worse, I recently found out that students from batches over the last two years have not been placed yet, and many of them have lost hope entirely.
The course structure includes an online LMS and practical webinars twice on weekends. However, the faculty doesn’t seem very committed. Most of them treat it as a side gig, and their support ends the moment their session is over. As a result, students are left to struggle with the LMS, which is not engaging at all.
If you value your hard-earned money, I strongly advise against falling for their marketing, ads, and sales tactics. Data analytics is certainly an easier alternative to full-time coding, but it can be monotonous. If you already have coding experience and an interest in analytics, it might be a good fit. But if you come from a completely unrelated background like law, sales, or finance, you will likely struggle and eventually drop out.
This is my honest experience, and I’m sharing it to help others make an informed decision before investing in a data analytics course.
