Hi All,
I am a commerce graduate and do not know any programming language. Due to COVID, I lost my job, and I was checking the options to upskill myself, and it sounded like Data Science is the key after looking at online promotions of different institutes. I inquired about almost 10-12 institutes offering data science courses and much identical course structures and topics to be covered. The only difference was the Fees and other benefits like a job guarantee. Being Jobless, I focused on keeping my savings intact, so I joined a free course from DataQuest. It’s not as easy as they claim for a non-programming background guy to become a Data Scientist. I had nothing to lose, so I focused on the course material to upskill myself. Even though I don’t have any certificate of completion, I am happy with the improved skill set and job!
