No, In my Point of view Scaler’s placement facility is not good. They didn’t provide any job guarantee with their programs and did not have any major collaborations with big organizations so that they could offer job opportunities to their students.
The Scaler programs are very costly, but no job guarantee does not worth the cost. The faculty members are not so educated to tackle students’ queries. Some faculty members are even don’t know about the syllabus as well as I was asking about something and I got different answer.
Anyone who wants to waste their hard-earned money should go for it like I did. But those who don’t want to risk their future career should go for other options. To enroll in the course, you have to qualify for an entrance test, which is not a cup of tea for everyone. It is more difficult for nontech students.
For placement, they only provide guidance, nothing else. Mentors are very rude in behavior. They only instruct you and do not listen to your queries. After completing the course, they do not take any follow-up from you regarding the job. When someone asks for the placement, they only give those vacancies that are already on various job vacancy profiles like naukri linkedIn glassdoors or any other palce.
Scaler academy placements are not worthwhile and it is very costly and also they provide very less placements and that is not worthwhile and also getting into these FAANG companies is not worth the cost and it is more expensive than holding a degree itself.
Even the study material you can get from outside to websites such as leetcode and geeksforgeeks. Theft offer spoon feeding technique to most of the students and that is not good and also thor placement structure is not that worthwhile and it is much similar to get which is implemented in Kota for IIT JEE and after enrolling myself to the kota and also wasted lot of money and time in spending ton of resources for this course. In the end, greeting nothing ultimately also the placement they offer is more than the cost of the degree itself is not that appropriate and that is why they end up making a lot of money. The one learning I understood from their placements is self motivation and basic common sense is required to crack anything and success in life and also this scalar academy they offer lot of spoon feeding which is not that much beneficial for the audience in one way.
Therefore lot of work is required at the end for them to enroll in this course and at the end not performing that well. They offer you with a lot of questions which are most of the time repetitive in nature and also develop the intuition that comes from the understanding of a single question that is to the depth of the knowledge. There are a lot of questions which are in repetitive mode and they provide us with no technique and also developing this intuition feeling which comes from understanding that this single question will provide a lot of depth. So their placement facility is not good and also provides a lot of hurdles. And the salary pay which is offered during the time of placement is very nominal and it is more than the fees structure itself. So at scalar academy you are charged more than the expectation and fees they provide is very high. Scalar academy courses are not worth studying and exploring as they are too expensive and costly. Moreover there are not any mock interviews which are conducted and practice sessions which will help candidates in clearing the interviews. I suggest go for another academy.
Most of the Institutes claim that they provide 100 % placement guarantee but Is it true that any Institution has a success rate of 100%?. Let me share you my personal experience based on the Scaler Academy Scaler Placements along with Scaler Academy Data Science Placements. For instance Let’s take up their Data science course .
The Scaler Academy Data Science Course is designed into sections like Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. You can choose as per your level. If you know a minimum about code, it will suggest beginner level, whereas if you know coding well, then you can start directly either with Basic level or advanced level. The duration of the course is for Fifteen months if you are a newcomer but if you are enrolling in an intermediate course, it will be completed within Thirteen months. In the course, you will learn programming, data analytics, statistical analysis and machine learning, advanced programming, deep learning and big data etc. You can build your portfolio by working on real-life projects.
From a learning and modules viewpoint, a scalar data science course is the best platform. The institute offers flexible curriculums in terms of candidates’ acquaintance and experience. After completing basics, and intermediate, at an advanced level you can gain experience in specialization either full-stack development or back end development.
The major drawback which I found in scaler academy is batch size. The batches consist of 150+ aspirants, which can become a little lengthy process for solving the doubts of any candidate. As in the brochure, they have mentioned personal mentor support, but after studying its feedback, due to the large batch size, it becomes tough to formulate personal training for each candidate.
From the placement prospectus, I will not suggest this academy, it’s a bit difficult to place 150+ candidates in good job roles. You have to make your own efforts to land the right job. Although Scaler Academy provides great academic knowledge related to data science with practical exposure, from a job viewpoint and course fees, I will suggest you look into other institutes like Data Trained, Upgrad, Great Learning, Udemy, etc. I will recommend Scaler academy for technical aspirants as well as working professionals only. But if you are fresher or don’t belong to a technical background, then I will recommend DataTrained or Udemy as the best institutes to convert your career dreams into reality.
One year back, my sister bought a Scalar Academy Data science course. I think I can answer this question genuinely in a better way. Their major drawback is that they do not provide enough placement services or advancement. Scalar Academy Data science course is good from the perspective of course modules and learning features, but they do not have a separate placement cell. After completion of the course, students get demotivated and stuck as there is no mentor guiding them, no one is there to work on their communication skills or not even on their resumes. The other drawback of the Scalar Academy Data science course is one batch consists of 150 students. This large batch size guarantees a mess. Students did not get personalized feedback during Discussion sessions, job referrals, or mock interview sessions. It’s quite natural that the efficacy of personalized learning support will degrade. For the same reason, you need to wait a long time to reach your personal mentor.
Yes they are worth it my friend. At Scaler, when you are solving problems, it isn’t just the teachers behind, it’s also this group of like-minded, talented individuals that you are surrounded with. I don’t think people also realize the importance of a good peer group.
And how can I forget my mentor Deep Saxena? There was an instant relatability factor associated as he had graduated from the same university that I had. The fact that he was now working as an SDE-2 at Amazon was somehow immensely satisfying. The technical discussions with him were really exciting as well.
During our very first interaction, Deep told me about the small mistakes he made during his journey, and hence I was able to learn from those. I have been really blessed to have such a great mentor by my side.
In my viewpoint It’s worth it. I’m grateful for everything Scaler does for our community, and there’s no doubt in my mind that they’ll have a large-scale positive impact on Indian education in the future. This, I believe, will encourage more outstanding tech businesses to invest in India in order to flourish.
Well, if I tell you about the placement support of scalers, it looks extremely worthwhile in the brochure. But in reality, it’s hard to get placed in FAANG from the references. Each group contains practically 150+ candidates, and they all got Linkedin references for a similar work positions. Thus, the access opening turns out to be too less concerning the available applicants.
Thus most of the time, you really want to try finding a job all alone. And, if you get to know how to get one all alone, regardless of whether it’s a new business, you won’t get further position references from scaler foundation. Indeed, even your EMI of the post-job part will begin immediately.
Although, I should appreciate their mock interviews that contain great preparation strategies and question sets. However, once more, because of bunches of applicants, it becomes generalized in place of focusing on individual career objectives. And I also want to mention that the experts at scaler have decades of experience in their field.
They guide you so well throughout your course that you can clear your doubts and queries without any hesitation in asking them. Scaler also provides an ask me anything section where you can directly ask your queries to the industry experts, and they will solve your queries as soon as possible.
I graduated from Scaler with the February Batch. Campus Placement helped me find a position, and throughout the course of a year, I only received one referral. Unfortunately, I have to pay them, therefore I wanted to spread the word about some truths that are supported by evidence so that people won’t fall for this trick. In the past month, I have noticed a lot of articles written about Scaler.
In a video titled “What We Do and Why We Do,” Scaler declared that their curriculum is centered on learning rather than jobs. They ultimately disappoint, though, much like the majority of us in our. In India, it is uncommon for people to speak openly since nobody wants to jeopardize their future. People enroll in these programmes under the impression that they won’t have to pay anything until they find employment. So people simply sign up without thinking twice.
The greatest letdown, however, is when you begin making monthly payments for 24 months without receiving any assistance from the folks you are paying to get employment. Let me share with you some fascinating facts about Scaler that demonstrate how they sell their courses through recommendations and that most people who join Scaler do so with that assumption. If you have a job paying roughly 15L base, their education will cost you about 4.5L. If your base income is high, it can cost you extra. For 24 months, it is 15% of your base salary. 4.5L for a three-month data structure teaching stint in a course. Even red programmers won’t charge you much here. They have questions on DP, heaps, trees, and graphs in their entrance exam. Does a person who is familiar with these topics even need to take a course lasting three months and covering DSA in great detail for an average amount of 4.5L?
Their goal has been to deceive talented individuals into accepting jobs while covering it up with a DSA course. In our February Batch, there were close to 150 individuals that joined so that we would have a backup in case Scaler could assist us. Over time, it became apparent to us that they were expecting we would find a job on our own rather than making an effort to position us.
They set up the EMI plan as soon as we received a placement on our own, and since we over the threshold, they blacklisted us for referrals in the future. They promise to keep suggesting us, but after you are hired, they stop. The only explanation is that they received their money from you.
Online coaching has taken a far-reaching effect and has addressed a strong impact in the academic field. Especially after the pandemic, where everything is now digitized, adapting the new normal of learning in an e-mode has now been accepted for all institutes worldwide.
With the advancement in the field of science and technology, programming languages have taken their peak and have flourished immensely today among this generation.
Before Coming to the placement record of Scaler Academy Lets get a good understanding about the courses they are providing
Scaler Academy provides separate courses for college students and working professionals in a course duration of 47 weeks.
Their highly comprehensive projects and practice questions will help you to build your concepts very well.
Their class batch size is about 150+ however, it sometimes creates havoc in clearing doubts.
Comparatively, their course fee structure is pretty high. It ranges to Rs 2.5 lakhs inclusive GST.
Their selection procedure is based on an entrance examination.
The Scaler Academy Scaler Placements process is not what I had expected. After completing my course on Data Science I was hands ready for my job interviews as they claimed 100 % placement but later did I realize that it was all just a marketing strategy and nothing else. This is not what I had expected from the Scaler Academy Data Science program. I was just a mere waste of time, money and energy.
The Scaler Academy Data Science Placements is total Scam. Do not I repeat Do not! get influenced by the smart marketing strategy. You will land up helpless. But if you are fresher or don’t belong to a technical background, then I will recommend Data Trained or Udemy as the best institutes to convert your career dreams into reality.
Scaler Academy’s data science placements are indeed highly regarded and can be considered excellent. As a participant of Scaler Academy’s data science program, I have experienced firsthand the program’s commitment to ensuring successful placements for its students.
One of the key strengths of Scaler Academy is its comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. The program covers a wide range of data science topics, including statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and deep learning. The curriculum is designed by industry experts and is regularly updated to align with the latest industry trends and demands. This ensures that participants gain a solid foundation and practical skills that are highly sought after by employers.
The program also offers dedicated placement assistance and support. Scaler Academy has established strong connections with leading companies and organizations in the industry. They actively work towards facilitating placements for their students by organizing recruitment drives, job fairs, and networking events. The program also provides mentorship and guidance throughout the placement process, helping students prepare for interviews, build their portfolios, and showcase their skills effectively.
Scaler Academy’s strong reputation in the industry is another contributing factor to the quality of placements. The program is recognized for its rigorous selection process, ensuring that participants are high-caliber individuals with a strong passion for learning and growth.
Personally I think scalar academy placements are totally legit. In my opinion the job assurance also depends upon the skills and knowledge of the candidate. The recruiter always tries to look for the desired candidate.
Even after completing the course If you are unable to answer the question during your interview then its a red flag for you.
So i believe no one can provide you 100% placement guarantee as it also depends on you and not just the academy or institution.
