Hi there,
It depends on your timing and interest. I took a data science program from Learnbay and I selected the weekend batches as I got free time on weekends only. If you are not working, then you can go with the 9-month weekday batches.
And about their course, I was so confused because they have different data science courses. I don’t know which one to choose and got frustrated, because I was tired of searching for data science courses on various websites.
I started to do research on my own and read their reviews on various platforms, most of the students gave positive reviews about the institute. So, I thought of going to learnbay itself. I submitted my details on their website and waited for the call. The counselor called me and explained about all the data science courses available at learnbay. Then I chose their Advance Data Science and AI program, it was one of the best decisions that I took.
First of all the course starts with the fundamentals of programming, they will conduct sessions for learners who don’t have any programming knowledge. After that, the faculties will start with Python, data science tools, models, statistics, and more topics. Once you are equipped with good knowledge in data science, they will move on to AI topics.
All these sessions will be happening in live, also I was allocated a coordinator who helped me with attending sessions and booking additional sessions. And the other thing about Learnbay is, sometimes the sessions will be canceled. Also, I wanted to change to another batch for a particular topic, they even helped me with that.
Everything was good except for the sessions getting canceled, but it wasn’t a serious problem. Anyway at the end of the program, they helped me with job referrals and I even attended mock interview sessions. Also, their HR helped me with the job referrals.
Fortunately, I got a job through their job referral only. It was a great experience for me at learnbay.
I’ll give you one of the honest reviews because I took their course and it was a horrible experience.
I can’t even describe the low quality of the material available to their learning in their courses. You will not be able to gain even a basic understanding of the concepts that are critical for a data scientist. They then expect us to apply these concepts to our projects by conducting online research. Imagine they provide links to other sites for learning SQL, Python, or even coding practice.
When it comes to communication, they claim to have a dedicated channel for assisting students in clarifying their doubts. Because mentors are rarely available for one-on-one sessions, you must clear them during class, which is frequently impossible due to a large number of students in each batch (100-200). So they can either teach a topic or simply clear the doubts of 200 students.
You may get a job, but don’t expect it to be a good one because the knowledge you will gain from this institute will be very basic and insufficient to land a good job.
