I would say, Careerera are fraud guys and a total scam. Please don’t fall prey to their sales people gimmicks.
As per my observation careerera is not a good platform for a Data Science course. There are many options other than this in the market. I don’t like its faculty as they don’t know the needs of a student. The behavior was very bad towards the students and the knowledge in them is very low.
They do not provide placement guarantee at all. On the sake of placement assistance they only give the knowledge to attend an interview and how to present yourself there. Before enrollment they call many times a day, but after getting enrolled they don’t bother with anything of student’s need. Careerera does not have major collaborations with big organizations so that there are no chances of getting placed through them. The heavy sum of about 1.80 lacs is very high for no facility.
So if you have extra money with you then you can go for it otherwise it is not worth it. You can go for other options for the course with this price and with job guarantee.
Careera is completely a fraud and it is a total scam. And would suggest to pursue the course from any other institute other than Careera. Even Careera doesn’t provide certificates and also they ask for credit card details and also they are trying to deduct money for more than two times. Their career coaching sessions are not gonna teach you anything you already don’t know. There was this instance where I actually completed my course and asked my career coach what sort of support that I could expect from them, since I am done with the course and she hung up the call. And then I scheduled another call with her and she was like since you are done with the course let me share you some JD’s . And the JD’s she shared had experience range between 12–15 years and throughout the entire course that was the only JD they shared.
So,Talking about the faculty.The mentors except one or two have no clue what the course is about and they are just doing it for the extra bucks on the weekend. There have been so many times where my mentor does not have a clue about what he is doing. It’s just not me though, I have talked with my entire cohort, with the same feedback
And coming back to the wonderful curriculum they promise, it is just a bunch of youtube videos put together. I am 100% sure they are free on youtube and they have a medium called slack and I have seen so many people complain that they have finished their course and not getting what they are promised on slack, most of the previous batches. Careerera is a dubious school. I was interested in their Cyber Security program but got suspicious when their advisors acted nervous and incredibly desperate to get me to pay money. They kept badgering me with calls and messages and within one week had arbitrarily reduced the school fees from $4,500 USD to $2,000 USD in a bid to get me to register.
I am more bordered about the quality of learning and was reluctant because their correspondence did not inspire confidence in me, however, I succumbed under pressure when they reduced their registration fee from $250 USD to $100 USD and promised me that they would create a student account to let me view past lectures on the Cyber Security program to decide and also give me access to some free courses.
After paying the $100 USD, the next day they revoked my student account, I could no longer access any past or free courses like promised, and guess what? After several contacts with Careerera to find out what is going on. I have gotten back complete silence and crickets. In my opinion, the institution is a scam and you will deal with them at your own risk.
I would strongly suggest you not to pursue any certification course from careerera. There are several reasons behind that. The content is low on quality. Irrelevant Content just to make long videos. In most cases you won’t get a certificate of completion so you won’t be able to mention it in your CV. Doubts are not cleared as there are no such separate sessions. Careerera courses are not made for beginners because their curriculum has no proper plan of study from basics.

I have been doing a diploma program in Data Science from Careeerera and what is clear is that their curriculum for data science from Python fundamentals, python libraries (Numpy, pandas, Seaborne, Matplotlib), DBMS using SQL, Machine learning (Supervised and unsupervised) to Tableau are industry standard. Their method of teaching can be improved upon especially for people without programming concepts. I will suggest learning programming concepts to be a prerequisite for data science.
Also, PowerBi should be taught with Tableau because the two software is industry standard. The instructor should try to get learning feedback from students by evaluating the assignments given to the students. The learning Management System(LMS) makes it easy for us to review previous session recordings and get access to all course materials and all information about current and upcoming programs.
I hope the internship and mentoring promised as part of the program will be fun and helpful for my career ahead as a data scientist. Learning from Careeerera has been fun and interesting.
The experience with Career Era was excellent from my counsellor Shruti, who helped me to decide on selecting a course for myself, then I got a good mentor and a trainer, they helped me grasp the knowledge and helped me with all the doubts and regular sessions. However, this smooth journey soon ended up with the false promise made at the time of admission for placements. I was given assurance of at least 10 well-known companies that will be lined up for the interviews.
The management of Career Era is only focused on earning from your hard-earned money and then do not provide the most important thing, which was actually why I got interested in course was the job guarantee program. I have sent so many emails to the management, support team, and placement team, but it seems that it was the whole plan to give the best services till the time the student pays up the fee, once the fee payment part is over and it’s the time of placements, they will vanish like they never existed. Even though the trainer was good and so as the module, the end result was a fake promise or Fraud. Cheaters….
I think Careerera is one of the most mind-blowing stage for Data Science. I have done my confirmation from that point and it’s actually a best choice I made that is the reason I recommend this association for such expert courses to each and everybody. There showing procedure is not the same as other. They’ll give you something that no other association would be able.
