Guys do not fall into these traps. There is no need to spend a lot of money on this. I come from a mechanical background and wanted to work in IT. I had no prior coding experience. The wisest thing I’ve ever done was to avoid going to a coding class. I discovered good free content on YouTube and many other platforms while searching for online courses on Google. That’s all! Now I work as a well-paid software developer, and the rest is history. Never rely on a job placement service. They make special offers on their courses every week. You can get any course for 400 or 500 rupees, literally any course. It makes no difference whether the course is 1 hour or 60 hours. The cost will remain constant. People believe that if they spend a lot of money on their education, they will be successful. That is incorrect. They get nothing but hope after spending 3-4 lakhs. You must believe me because I am the example. Rest your wish. Cheers.
According to my experience at Upgrad, the placements are excellent; they have their own standards for shortlisting candidates and then allowing students to interview with the best employers. During my time there, they brought in companies from all walks of life and for all levels of aspirants, whether they were new or experienced. Student Mentors are always there to advise us on how to prepare and, if we require additional study materials, they will supply it.
There are no placements available in Upgrad. However, they promise to assist fellow students in getting placed. It is critical to understand the distinction between guaranteeing placements and providing placement assistance. Because every course is online, there will be no placements through Upgrad. I am an undergraduate student studying Data Science. Upgrad claims to have a pool of companies with whom they have ties and who have openings for Data Science. But it’s all deceptive. They don’t have anything like that. My batch has not been placed through Upgrad. Upgrad also did not assist any students by providing relevant job openings from companies.
Yes, after completing college I wanted to learn data science so I decided to do a certification course from UpGrad. I decided to do Executive Post graduate program in Data Science. This is a full-time course with a duration of 12 months.
The eligibility criteria to apply for this course is a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50%. Honestly, they provide the best guidance to the students who have a keen interest in learning data science. They teach the students starting from very basic and sharpen their knowledge.
I am totally satisfied with their placement program as I am myself working with a well-reputed domain at a satisfying package. They have an exclusive level of shortlisting candidates and placing them into a well-reputed firm.
