All the answers here are paid ones that start by painting a positive picture of Great Learning & then move towards praising the e-learning platform they are employed by the institute only. It is very difficult to find genuine reviews. I once posted a negative review of ‘Internshala Trainings, ‘ which was reported & removed. Here most of you haven’t seen the real face of great learning. A guy I know spent lakhs on a Great Learning Data Science course & towards the end; he realized that placement assistance is poor & limited to the top few. THE PLACEMENTS ARE VERY BAD. He’s now struggling to find a job.
As a data science student from Great lakes, I am to share my personnel Great lakes data science review to you, not waste your damn four lakhs here. Seriously, guys, you will thank me later. Ask any students who have passed out after the month of JUNE 2019. I agree the faculties are really good and the curriculum is also fine. Out of 50 or 60 people in a batch, only 4 or 5 people are getting placed (those are the experienced people in relevant fields. they say freshers can join and you will be placed..but no such things are happening here). They will still show you the placement report with 100% placement assistance. Those people got those jobs off-campus and not with the support of Great learning.
And others are struggling, and these students will not be considered after a month. They will get very, very rare companies, like 1 or 2 in a month; even though u have talents and high-level coding skills, your skills aren’t valued in the such institute. Especially freshers …this is not for u.
People from the other Great Learning branches were coming to the Bangalore campus since no placements were happening. If you just want to learn data science, you can learn from other institue DataTrained or other better place. But don’t you ever give preference to Great Learning. And nowadays, we heard that the recent batches are not getting proper faculties. Are you still going to waste your four lakhs just to become jobless?
And after watching my Great lakes data science review, if you are still going to choose Great learning, yes, go for it ..end up wasting 4L. The course fee for this program needs to be lowered. How can an institute charge this massive amount for its useless data science course? So for technical candidates, although these referrals may work to some extent for non-technical candidates, the chances of getting a data science job from such referrals could be higher. I recommend another institute for data science instead of the great lakes data science course, which is about the great lakes data science review. That is it from my side on the great lakes data science review. You have to make your own decision.

Multiple institutes offer data science courses due to its increasing demand and good salary. After going through a positive Great Lakes data science review, I decided to join its 9 months online data science course with placement guidance.
It was my wrong decision, as Great Lake is an unprofessional and fake institute. My teacher was inexperienced and covered only theoretical topics; The practical classes were rarely 20% of the total course duration—a very disappointing behavior by Great Lake.
I had considerable doubts, and during online sessions, I asked for my queries, but the teacher did not answer at the same time and postponed them. I stuck with the questions as they were related to the following topics. There is no dedicated learning system, and the teacher did not bother with your learning and problems.
After completing the course, I asked for placement help; they emailed me a resume sample. There were no hiring companies or recommendations. I am giving genuine Great lakes data science review and it is my personal experience.

So for technical candidates, although these referrals may work to some extent for non-technical candidates, the chances of getting a data science job from such referrals are very low. Well, I am very clear about my opinion right from the start, because my sister joined this course after seeing the Great lakes data science review which was fake. The Great lake data science reviews are paid and not genuine. I do not recommend you to go for PG courses of Great Learning, especially data science. I have done thorough research on various data science courses and upon my findings. The Great Lake certificate you get from Great learning is not internationally recognized. I personally believe that there are better good courses in the market like the data science course from Data Trained.
I will provide you the reason why I disapprove of the PG data science course of Great Learning. Firstly, The curriculum of PG in data science courses is average and not up to PG level. The price of the course is too heavy, that is for Rs.2,75,000 + GST. Not enough projects are conducted neither practiced efficiently.
The duration of the course is too lengthy, which is for 11 months.
Not enough perks of live sessions. Mostly fail to provide better management and training. Data Science field is all about practical knowledge and skills, without them, one cannot become a data scientist. The best way to earn all the sharp skills is by getting your hands dirty by working on projects because only this will give you practical experience in the real field.
Great lakes is not an affiliated and certified institute, and it is not worth joining it for its data science and data analytics certification as they are not industry-recognized.
