All the people here saying that Upgrad does not provide placement are big hypocrites. What is upgrad’s fault in this? They have already mentioned that they assist you in job. I did Post Graduation in Data Analytics in 2021 and after completion they fixed some interviews for me. And by god’s grace I was selected in MuSigma with a good annual package.
There are no placements. It’s just a scam. At the time of inquiring upgrad’s customer care people will try lure you into their course by explaining you how good is their course and they have placed many students before. But it’s all lie, most of their students are those who are already working and just doing the course for promotion in their current job. This course won’t land you a job. You have to do your own hardwork and research to find a job or maybe a internship.
Upgrad’s criteria for placement in Post Graduates in Data Analytics course is very harsh. They have some set of conditions which a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for a placement oppurtunity. If you fail to fulfill their criteria you would not get any placement benefits.
It’s only useful if you want to advance in your existing career; otherwise, if you’re a recent graduate hoping to find work after finishing this Post Graduates in Data Analytics course, you might want to reconsider. You cannot hope to get placement from upgrad as there is no guarantee, just assistance from their side.
There will be no placements. Examine the course you wish to take and make direct contact with universities. Choosing courses from universities rather than career portals is always the best option. If the goal is only to gain knowledge rather than to develop a career, platforms such as Upgrad can be used. The fees for which are just too high on the wallet. Furthermore, the majority of learners on this platform are already employed.
