It’s fundamentally a customary course from home with week by week cutoff times and understudy tutors will interface you once in a while to give you any help on the off chance that you want all through the course. My view on the data science course run by IIITB and UpGrad – the help given by the UpGrad group has been perfect as far as the meetings led to explain any questions on the Online course satisfied, and overall in drawing in with the people who are chasing after the course. Upgrad is one the top technical universities in India. Speaking about its Post Graduate Diploma Data Science Course, it is a 12 months course. I think it requires about 12 to 15 hours per week of your time. It also has EMI options for students, so yeah it’s great.
In Upgrad’s PG Diploma Data Science there are 5 specialization from which you can choose accoding to your requirements. Their trainers are pretty proficient and have effectiv teaching style. They also provide career support and assistance.
I would suggest you to do this course from Coursera as they have better features than upgrad’s PG Data Science course. Also Coursera is much more genuine and authentic comparatively.

As a former student of the course I think I am qualified to give this answer. I am quite sure you have had heard about UpGrad or might have even seen many of it’s ads somewhere. Upgrad PG Data Science is one of the best available course on the market. I only joined this course after thorough research. They definitely deliver what they promise. I am quite glad that I joined this course as it helped me to get to my objective.
A full community has been established in upgrad to improve the learning experience even further, including, but not limited to, one-on-one mentorship, peer-to-peer learning, industry networking, and professional career assistance. This provides a comprehensive approach to getting the most out of the programs available.
It’s all a fraud; everyone in upgrad will offer you the world before you pay your fees.
In June 2021, I finished the PG Diploma program in ML & AI at IIIT Bangalore (Upgrad) and received the WES report, which rated it as comparable to a “1 year PG Diploma” in Canada. However, as of April 20, 2021, this program is known as Executive PGP and is no longer accepted by WES (so far).
To be honest, Upgrad is not upto the mark.
I enrolled in the course with the intention of learning the breadth of existing concepts and methodologies so that when I meet a new situation, I can go back and pull out the tools I gained during this exercise (and research further if needed at a later point in time). Every time I work on a new problem statement, I try not to (unknowingly) reinvent the wheel or start from scratch.
The greatest part of this course is that there is always a dedicated mentor who is extremely helpful and takes care of all reminders to notify of our live sessions, small group discussions, one-on-one sessions, and tests. They are always willing to help us. There are numerous online courses available, however Upgrad is the finest option for online education and learners.
I’ve been taking this course since December 2020, and I’ve had a great time thus far. The training will not be difficult for you if you do not come from a technical background. The course content and live sessions will greatly assist you in learning the fundamentals of coding. The live sessions are fantastic. The instructors double-check that you grasp the material. And because there are so many people from all backgrounds, you get a variety of viewpoints on each issue.
I am currently enrolled in UpGrad’s PG Certification programme in Data Science, which is co-sponsored by IIIT, Bangalore. Because this is an online course, you can attend lectures and read material at any time during the day. So far, I’m happy with the course. The course is well-structured and timed to ensure that you understand the fundamentals. The student mentors and TAs have been quite helpful. So far, I’ve had a wonderful experience so far.
From there, my real brother did the same program, and I’d like to suggest that, based on my analysis. Many of the Upgrads projects and case studies are based on real-world business difficulties that you will face once you enter the corporate sector. Unlike in school, when you learn a theory but have no idea how to apply it. Case studies and capstone projects based on industrial business difficulties are completed here, which is a major benefit for any working professional.
UpGrad offers a 12-month postgraduate programme that is entirely online. It was created in collaboration with IIT Guwahati by industry experts. Data science is a subset of data mining and predictive analytics that entails extracting knowledge from massive amounts of structured and unstructured data. The program’s purpose is to prepare qualified Data Scientists. A postgraduate diploma is worthwhile to pursue.
