I did IID’s project management course and it was a very frustrating experience for me. First of all, the content of the course was very outdated and irrelevant. It looked like it hadn’t been updated in years. The content did not take into account current industry requirements and trends, making this learning experience unprofitable at all.
The level of the instructors was also very disappointing. He did not have a deep knowledge of the subject and his teaching style was very boring and ineffective. It seemed as if they were just reading the script, without any real understanding or experience. Whenever we asked questions, they failed to give satisfactory answers. There was no interestingness or interactivity in their teaching method, making the learning process extremely boring.
The practical sessions and assignments were also very simple and non-practical. The level of assignments was so low that there was nothing new to learn from them. They contained no examples of real-world applications or solutions to real problems used in industry. The practical projects were also very basic and did not have any challenging elements.
The biggest problem was that there was no help or guidance after the course. IID had made tall promises during the course that they would get us placements in good companies, but none of these came true after the course was completed. The placement team was also not very supportive and did not help us find job opportunities at all.
Overall, IID’s project management course is a complete waste of time and money. It is not only frustrating, but it does not lead to any kind of knowledge or skill. I would not recommend anyone to take this course of IID. According to my experience, this is the worst course I’ve ever taken.
Hey, I want to share my experience with you recently I have completed my Product Management course from IID. So I was very excited to learn something new but when I stat my course they tell us that they your studies will start after sometime. Till the time you can collect your books and start studying. After 1 month we asked them once again when will our studies start so they simply said that we have already assigned you topics start learning we will take test from nest week. We all were shocked to listen that we haven’t studied anything how can we give test. It was seriously a money waste course. If you are looking for product management course I won’t recommend you from here.
Its a very good initiative of our Government to make the courses accessible to each and every person from any financial background by making these courses available at very affordable prices. Even though the courses available there are very basic for example like Artificial Intelligence and Data Sceince for just Rs1400 in which you will get 69 lectures and 68 videos and provide certicate of completion from MSME, Govt. The course is kind of a good to know information and won’t help professionally to anyone. The medium of the course is also english, however, the institute runs like any other Govt Office where every Mussadilal will find Pandey ji, Mishra Ji and Usha ji. They will be very friendly but very slow to actually work on your query if you need any kind of help. Its better to join courses available at Udemy, where you will find updated content at affordable prices as well. IID is best for Industrial and skill wise courses like Horticulture, waste management, fruit juice processing units etc etc which is directly related to the MSME field. A definite No No for Data Science, Digital marketing or any tech related courses for which there are dedicated institutes available like Udemy, Upgrad etc.
