The value of a course is mostly determined by the student who is taking it and what you expect to gain from it. As a result, what may be an excellent path for one individual may not be so for another.
Statistical pattern recognition, machine learning, and data mining are among the topics covered in the Coursera Data Science course. The course is roughly 56 hours long and can be completed at your own schedule.
However, many students point out that the course begins at a very basic level, thus it may appear repetitious and monotonous to students who have already completed the basics. So the course is awesome its just that you need to be awesome too.
This Coursera IBM data science certification is an excellent place to start if you want to change careers and work in data science like I did. It’s something I’d recommend to anyone, whether they’re a beginner or an intermediate.
Beginners like me will get a broad overview of data science fundamentals.
Intermediate students will benefit from the capstone project because it allows them to develop their own project, source their own data, and write their own code.
Starting your portfolio with a mandatory GitHub account, publishing a research paper, and writing a blog entry is an added plus. If they make it to the end, and especially if they enjoy the last two courses, curious students will know whether a data science profession is a good fit for them.
If you are a beginner, this Coursera IBM Data Science course is for you. They’ll teach you all you need to know about data science, from the fundamentals to advanced topics. Python, Pandas, Numpy, Relational Databases, SQL, Modeling, and Data Visualization are among the skills they’ll focus on. I also encourage that you use platforms to practice real-world data science tasks at the same time. You can find exercises with genuine data science problems from real companies on a variety of online platforms.
