Coursera has been around longer and is considered the Gold Standard of MOOCs. Then there is edX. These two are main. Coursera is much more liberal with giving away the videos free or allowing for the subscription.
I have taken one course on FutureaLearn in the trial period. Other programs are expensive, and the videos are not free so I would say no for FutureLearn.
Cause universities like MIT and Yale offer Coursera. And the certificate is highly recognized. The tutors are professors in top-class institutes(top-notch).

Honestly speaking, I haven’t heard about FutureLearn. I always suggest and prefer online learning and hands-on preparation from a reputed training institute for data science course. There are a lot of courses at Datatrained, Udemy, Coursera, etc. which are not much expensive and comes with quality content.
Certification will not come with a guarantee for a job or a switch. Try learning with one of the online courses. Feel free to comment on answers for better clarity about what needs to be learned.
Please read!!!!! The front site is brilliant, and all education is excellent. I’m giving it one star to warn people about the app. There is not one. I have been in contact with futurelearn, and they now know people are pretending to be them. If you see the app, do not download it. Do not give login details or card details. they are the cheater!!!!
Massive scam. Most of the reviews on Facebook page are fake accounts, fake numbers. I did block my credit card after paying for the course extension as I was worried after all that I have seen.
Terrible company to deal with. Never again.
The courses give some helpful information, but they are a bit ‘flimsy’ and don’t lead to anything, even though they say some courses can lead to degrees. I think FutureLearn is misleading people…
I can’t suggest anyone to take online course from futurelearn.
