Yes it is! A major component of the course was the participation of upGrad student mentors. I followed them, and they were quite helpful in answering my questions. There was also job placement aid, where you were given detailed instructions on how to begin a career as a Data Analyst.
The following are some of the most significant advantages of taking an Upgrad data science course.
1. Sessions with an industry expert for a small group of 10-12 learners with comparable profiles to explore real-world applications of topics and receive individualised coaching.
2. Get a specialised career coach to help you stay on track to reach your career goals, improve your profile, and support you throughout your career journey.

This is an unbiased review. I’m writing this because I don’t want aspirants to become trapped in the course, as I and many of my friends did. I would not recommend taking this course, and everything mentioned here is true. This is why:
You will be buttered up and then trapped by Admission Counselors until you pay the tens of thousands of rupees.
They conceal half of the information from you to trap you. If you contact them at any point after paying the money, they will not answer the phone.
In terms of content, many of my friends who have enrolled, including myself, believe that the money you pay is completely wasted.
We all agree that it would have been better if we had taken some other courses that are far less expensive and have better content. Of course, the pace is extremely fast. There were days when we had to ignore office work, deal with multiple issues in the office, and take office leave to complete our tasks.
My friend’s health was jeopardized in one case. At all times, you will be told that this is a professional-friendly course.
I enrolled for the course this year with the aspiration to fit for the advanced Data Engineer role and getting knowledge of data science. Initially, their marketing team will say all data science buzzwords “AI, Machine Learning, Spark, Scala, Big Data, Data Analytics” etc multiple times to make you go for this course.
This course is maintained by IITB but in a span of two months, I never had any class with an IITB associate/professor. You can have small 5 minutes videos with professors in some sessions but it won’t clarify the topic.
Later on, there will be sessions on the earlier videos taken by Upgrad associates where they will repeat the same concept again, with no value added. There are much better training materials available on the internet.
My opinion is that Data Science is one of the most required jobs by Industries in the upcoming years. This is because of factors like growing business sector scope, expanding reliance on data science handlings, etc. So, learning data science skills in today’s era is an excellent idea.
So, if you want to learn data science as a career option, then UpGrad is an exclusive option. UpGrad provides various courses according to your requirement. One of my friends has suggested me do a data science course from UpGrad, and I must tell you all that they provide the best online education.
