One of the online institutions for training in analytics. I found that learning at my own pace to be the challenging experience.
The course material is challenging to learn. I wasn’t able to understand how to solve the challenges from the case studies. It was seriously lacking in support from the teachers. Every time I voiced a complaint, it wasn’t addressed in the allotted time.
The instructional films are complex and challenging to follow, making them useless for my current position.
Their round-the-clock support is something I despise; it was terrible.
I think it’s one of the worst courses now offered in the sector because of how terrible and out-of-date the course curriculum and study materials are. They have a small faculty and staff that isn’t always willing to lend a helping hand when necessary.
Jigsaw, in collaboration with the University of Chicago, offered the course, which included both in-person and online sessions. We were not required to complete some limited assignments and projects, but they provided us with crucial practical experience. The short collection of pre-recorded sessions did not do much to prepare us for the course.
Both the teaching and support staff were difficult to reach and helpful in resolving any questions and completing the demanding course schedules without incident.
Jigsaw Academy is not the best option if you are truly considering upskilling yourself or changing your career to Data Science and don’t believe in this spoon-feeding.
I took the Data Science course with Jigsaw while I was a student there. Overall, I had a poor learning experience. But what really disappointed me was how unhelpful they were when I recently asked them for assistance with university applications. I was quite dissatisfied with the response. It is reassuring that they don’t really care about you as a former student of their academy once you graduate. The personnel are unfriendly and passive.
Unext ( Manipal) is the worst institute to learn and they are too costly.
Please do not join any course in this institute. This is one fraud institute.

I am pursuing a Jigsaw Certificate in Data Science and Analytics for Business.
The Certificate in Data Science and Analytics for Business, jointly offered by Shiv Nadar University Delhi-NCR and UNext Jigsaw, will help you create a strong foundation in both technical and business aspects of Data Science and Analytics.
It has been 3 months since I enrolled in this course. During this time, I realized that Jigsaw Academy’s courses are vast and in-depth.
The faculty is so knowledgeable and experienced. They support students in every manner. There are 33 weeks of online live instructor-led sessions.
The program fee is 1,41,600 INR which is very much high, but the relief is that they provide a No cost EMI option for 15 months with a monthly fee of 9,440 INR so that I can pay the fee monthly.
Shiv Nadar University and Unext Jigsaw will give the certification of the program.
The online classes are pretty helpful and a great help for studying. The tests that are conducted at the end of the month are also known so that we can understand our weak points. Jigsaw provides hands-on learning through projects and case studies. They conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, and access to job posting for placement assistance.
Since I was admitted to Jigsaw, I am much more confident than before, and the credit goes to Jigsaw Academy and its faculty members. The projects and assignments given by them are pretty much useful for us.
I enrolled in their PG certificate in Data Science course. Frankly, the course material and content are pretty average. They promised big things before enrolling, but all of that was a lie. I would advise you to do homework and not get carried away by false promises from such institutes. Save your hard-earned money and earn more knowledge by referring to free videos and websites on social networks, As the fee structure is not affordable. There is no benefit to give them 1 lac to 2 lac for a course.
They will not help you to get a placement. It is an earning platform for them, not a learning platform. Placement is something they don’t understand. Forget about the placement; their placement services are upsetting. They even don’t help you to write your resume or mock tests.
I was in touch with them throughout my course duration. But didn’t get any kind of support.
They post jobs from other employment portals, but the clutch is that they don’t have jobs for freshers. Someone from data science or AI with relevant experience is required. And most of the students are freshers, so they don’t fit here.

As I was new to this field, Unext Jigsaw Academy helped me to learn more about data science. Assignments given by them are beneficial to understand the concepts easily. I opted for this because there are many good Unext Jigsaw Academy reviews available online.
The faculty is supportive; they repeat the topics if we have not understood the concepts. If you have any query, you can ask them, and they will resolve your problem as soon as possible. And the videos provided by them also helped me a lot in learning. Then at the end of the month, there are some tests by which we can know our learning status. We get hands-on practice. Overall the process of certification is good. We will be getting emails regarding the openings right from the beginning of the course, which is an advantage. The support team also responds quickly to any technical-related issues or courses etc.
Placements are part of the process for such courses, and Jigsaw provides good support for it. They provided calls from known companies from their corporate tie-up and let you attend interviews. I have registered on Naukri and receive dozens of emails every day. In this industry it is not easy to get a job because it requires deep knowledge of the subject. At most, they can help you understand the topic and clear your doubts, which I found very useful in Jigsaw.

However, there’s a notable drawback that I feel the need to mention – Jigsaw Academy doesn’t provide written notes, and their transcripts are poorly formatted. In my opinion, having written notes or transcripts is crucial for effective learning.
Let me illustrate this with a scenario: Imagine taking a year-long course with around 50 modules. Let’s say you complete the first four modules in the initial month. As time progresses, by the fifth month, it’s likely that you won’t remember the content from the first month, and revision becomes necessary.
The issue with Jigsaw Academy is that when you decide to revise something, you’re required to listen to the recordings again. This means investing the same amount of time in revision as you did in the initial learning phase.
If there were printed notes or transcripts available, revising concepts would be much more straightforward – just by reading through the material. Unfortunately, the quality of Jigsaw’s transcripts is disappointing, and the numbers are not properly formatted.
I brought this concern to the attention of the business owner at Jigsaw Academy, but unfortunately, she wasn’t inclined to address the issue by reprinting the transcripts or providing printed notes.
To sum it up – the learning experience may seem positive initially, but when it comes to revising, having to rely on recordings can be frustrating and time-consuming. Jigsaw’s attitude towards this matter is also disheartening, as despite being informed, they are not interested in offering printed notes.
Let’s be practical – how many times can one go through recordings? Isn’t it more efficient to read printed content? And what if access to videos is no longer available after a certain time period, like six months? All the knowledge gained from the recordings could potentially be lost. The quality of the transcripts further exacerbates the problem.
I share this based on my own experience, and I believe there’s significant room for improvement, especially considering the substantial investment of 40,000 INR or more. At the very least, providing written content should be a reasonable expectation.
