If you want to go for Data Science Simplilearn and Edureka both are good. Other than that if you want to go for MOOCs then Coursera is also good. They have low-cost courses for a short duration of time.
When it comes to Learnbay, let me tell you some things.
I did their Data Science program. I completed it in the year 2020. First of all, they claim that they have very less students (numbers not shown) so they have such few students as many as 100+. They also claim that they have top-tier experienced teachers. But the truth is they don’t even know what they are teaching. They are never there to solve your doubts. They also claim a lot about their placement services, but I never got a call from any company. Neither they helped me with the interview preparation.
I got trapped in their marketing. I request everyone to please go for Coursera or Simplilearn because they offer much better courses at cheaper prices.
While I was searching for data science courses, I have gone through all these three institutes.
Firstly, in Learnbay you will find different kinds of data science courses. They offer courses at an affordable rate. It is relatively new compared to Simplilearn and Edureka. I’ve done my data science course at Learnbay only. My experience with learnbay was good and helpful. The interesting part of learnbay was its faculties and live sessions. I got to learn a lot of interesting things out there.
Secondly Simplilearn, it is a well-known institute and it offers data science courses in association with various universities. The thing about Simplilearn is the cost of courses is high and I find out some mixed reviews about their institute too. I didn’t opt for it because of the fee and the mixed reviews. But I’ve seen many people go for their Scrum and PMP courses compared to data science.
Thirdly Edureka, they offer data science courses at an affordable rate just like learnbay. Edureka offers online training only and it offers capstone projects too. Reviews of Edureka seemed to be fine only.
I had Learnbay and Edureka in my mind because these courses are within my budget. But I went with Learnbay because they provide IBM certifications and Edureka didn’t provide any certifications like that.
But in Learnbay also, there are areas of improvement like providing sessions without canceling and providing more coding sessions with faculties. But at the end of the course, I felt, it was worth every penny that I’ve spent on it.
Simplilearn and Edureka are good, they have set up their brand and keep up the name for it.
But when it comes to Learnbay, oh boy! Let me tell you my brother’s story.
They have this insane Quora marketing with the help of which they lure innocent students to their courses.
My brother was a victim of it. When he joined the data science course, their batch size is really big. There was no systematic way to conduct the batches hence a lot of mismanagement by the teachers. And when it comes to case studies, no one solves the doubts, and their case studies can be found anywhere online, you can just copy and paste the codes no one is there to look at them.
So I would suggest you not get trapped in this scam of IBM certification. You can find much better courses at a much better cost.
