    To work as a data scientist, you have to have an undergraduate or maybe a postgraduate degree in a pertinent discipline, such as Business info systems, Computer science, Economics, Information Management, Mathematics, and Statistics. The standard eligibility criteria to obtain some information science training course after the 12th; ideally, a diploma/bachelor’s/master’s is graduation in mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, information science, or maybe related areas. Aspirants have to score approximately 50 % in graduation.

    • Students with backgrounds in mathematics, engineering, economics, statistics, and computer science take data science courses. Students with non-traditional knowledge, such as finance or management, can also enroll in data science courses.
    • Essential data science course qualifying criteria are a Class 12 diploma with 50 percent aggregate marks and knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics concepts (Probability, Calculus, Algebra).

    According to the research, 50% of data scientists in India have a Master’s degree; 34% – a Bachelor’s degree; and a small 6% hold a Ph.D.

    Now, regarding academic background: a degree in computer studies, economics, finance, business studies, statistics, and mathematics is certainly considered an advantage.

    This goes to prove the increasing importance of online data science training’s not only when it comes to learning the fundamentals, but also for acquiring the latest in-demand skills.
