Zionverse is a decentralized metaverse gaming ecosystem based on Indian culture. It is a platform that integrates decentralized finance (DeFi), playable NFTs, and Play-to-Earn and Planetary DAOs.
Zionverse is focused on three main aspects: Playable NFTs, Composable Gaming Platform, and Indian Culture.
(1) Playable NFTs
Zionverse has two main NFTs: Lakshmi and Trimurti.
The first launch of Lakshmi NFTs contains gamified fixed deposits of USDC, where users get 3D models of the Goddess Lakshmi, spatial audio music, and 108% APY in USDC for one year (paid out monthly). Zionverse generates these returns through yield farming on stable coins. Their website shows they had 5555 NFTs sell out in 19 days.
The Trimurti NFTs provide intrinsic value through DAO tokens, revenue share, and by being collectible items. They also provide utility by giving players access to the Zion Gaming platform. The NFTs can also be converted into 3D playable characters in the metaverse game. Each character is unique with different rarity types.
Players can also get rewarded for purchasing NFTs and staking. The earlier you purchase an NFT, the higher the rewards you receive.
(2) Composable Gaming Platform
Zionverse has developed a user-generated gaming platform on Unity. It’s a 3D voxel-based engine inspired by Minecraft. Users can use their NFTs in the game and are also able to import existing Minecraft maps, skins, and NPCs into the Zionverse.
Users can show off their skills in Vijayi Dash. In this game, players are in an obstacle course where they much run, jump, duck, and leap through dozens of challenges. Points are awarded based on how long you are able to stay on the obstacle course. Once ten games are played, your total score is calculated for the tournament. Users who make it onto the leaderboard also get rewarded. The higher rank you achieve, the higher your reward.
(3) Indian Culture
Lastly, the Zionverse is based on Indian culture, history, and mythology. The metaverse is inspired by these notions and is open to everyone. The project has plans to open the universe to Norse and Greek mythology as well.
Roadmap & Team
The Zionverse team just revealed their roadmap available on their website. In Q4 2021, they launched their website and released their Trimurti NFT. They are planning to release their DeFi layer in Q1 2022, and launch their planet DAO and tokens in Q2 2022. The team also has some of their information on their website.
