I have not done any course from upgrad but my sister did and according to her, the course is well balanced although it was not of a top notch quality as she was expecting. The course lacked certain important topics. Although they provided good study material and student support.

First and foremost, they have a pathetic customer service and the majority of the people who contact you are their students, I believe because it is there until you pay something even caution money (also students get commission if anyone takes admission through them its written on their website) and they will tell you that you will get some discounts on these highly priced recorded courses which they do not update according to market since data science and web development are vast and require.
Well I did the data science course by Upgrad and IIIT Bangloore. Overall it was very well developed course. It covered alomost all the topics in depth and teachers were really experts in their field with years of experience. I am working at amazon right now.
