The esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi and Internshala, a career-tech platform that assists recent graduates and college students in getting the greatest start in their professions, have inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). This partnership is a major step toward providing Indian students with relevant job prospects.
As per the terms of this Memorandum of Understanding, Internshala commits to offering a range of advantages to IIT Mandi students.
These benefits will include improving their career chances through the provision of relevant internships, jobs, and live project possibilities that align with their interests and preferences. Internshala will also provide IIT Mandi students with free access to its placement preparation courses.
The students will leave this program with the skills necessary to craft strong cover letters and resumes as well as be ready for interviews.
Founded in 2010 by IIT Madras alumnus Sarvesh Agrawal[1], Internshala is a career-tech platform that assists recent graduates and college students in getting the most out of their first jobs.
In keeping with its goal of becoming a career super app for college students, the platform offers students their first taste of real-world experience through internships and fresher jobs[2] and skill-building in areas that are in high demand through online trainings and placement guarantee courses.
ndian Institute of Technology Mandi (or IIT Mandi) is a public technical university located in Kamand Valley, Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and recognized as one of Institutes of National Importance.
Since its inception the institute has been involved with more than 275 Research and Development (R&D) projects worth more than ₹120 crore. In the past 10 years, the institute has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with as many as 11 international and 12 national universities.
With its extensive network of more than three lakh organizations, Internshala will work closely with IIT Mandi to select opportunities that are specifically designed for the students at the Institute. Both groups will collaborate to inspire students to look into and pursue jobs, internships, and real projects that align with their interests and skill sets.
