Role Summary:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for data collection, pre-processing, and analysis to build models addressing business problems. You will represent information using data visualization techniques and understand human behavior to identify relevant data patterns. This role requires strong collaboration across various teams and serves as a focal point for stakeholders in all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and mine data to enhance operational efficiency and drive optimization.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Solve problems using statistical programming languages like Python/R to extract insights from large datasets.
- Develop predictive models to enhance utilization/revenue and optimize customer experience.
- Build models for logistics and supply chain optimization.
- Collaborate with different business verticals to implement new models and monitor outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of data and data sources.
Key Requirements:
- 0-1 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, working on real-world projects.
- Proficiency in Python programming and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like matplotlib, Plotly, Folium, and Streamlit to communicate insights effectively.
- Thorough understanding of classical machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Experience with time series analysis and forecasting methods.
- Solid grasp of statistical concepts and their application to data analysis.
- Knowledge of constraint optimization (OR-tools, python-pulp) is a plus.
