React.js Developer (Drive)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end development and operations of high-performance web and mobile applications.
• Architect and scale engineering platforms to reduce technical debts and enhance performance and agility.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and swift execution, leading by example with hands-on involvement.
• Develop top-notch web platforms to address and improve marketplace dynamics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables, offering engineering expertise to ensure timely product delivery.
• Serve as the technical owner for a suite of products, including a proprietary web application, automated reporting facilities, frontend applications (mobile & web), and data-related engineering initiatives.
• Continuously refine and enhance delivery processes.
• Champion a quality-focused development culture while overseeing and managing a team of engineers and QA professionals.
• Spearhead talent management efforts for the Technology team, including recruitment, development, training, and retention.

Requirements:

• Hands-on technology enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and scalability.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent prioritization and project management skills.
• Proficiency in various agile frameworks and project tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Expertise in languages (React.js) and web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
• Experience developing applications using multiple stacks.
• Demonstrated experience in scaling web applications and SOA-based large-scale setups.
• Proven track record in architecture, design, and delivery of data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with modern web UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Experience leading a QA/testing function and implementing automation techniques for ongoing quality improvement.
• Proficient in building high-throughput, low-latency web services utilizing Strings and Binary Protocols.
• Advanced understanding of the Client Browser to CDN to Load Balancer to Web Application Server pipeline.
• Experience with architecting systems for AWS is advantageous.
• Familiarity with web paradigms such as REST, Responsive Web Design, and Test-driven Development (TDD).
• Expertise in various technology stacks, including web application development, middleware, integration, and enterprise architecture.
• Prior experience in managing a team of engineers, leads, etc.
• Thrives in a startup environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
