React.js Developer (Drive)
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of end-to-end development and operations for high-performance web and mobile applications.
- Architect and scale engineering platforms to minimize technical debt and enhance performance and agility.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and rapid execution, setting an example through hands-on leadership.
- Develop top-tier web platforms to address and improve marketplace dynamics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and provide necessary engineering support for on-time product delivery.
- Act as the technical lead for a range of products, including proprietary web applications, automated reporting systems, and frontend applications across various platforms.
- Continuously refine and enhance delivery processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Champion a quality-focused development culture while overseeing and managing a team of engineers and QA professionals.
- Lead talent management efforts for the Technology team, including recruitment, development, training, and retention.
Requirements:
- Proficient in React.js and other web technologies, with a keen eye for detail and scalability.
- Capable of multitasking effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent prioritization and project management skills.
- Familiarity with various agile frameworks and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Extensive experience in developing applications using multiple technology stacks and building large-scale setups.
- Proven expertise in architecture, design, and delivery of data-intensive applications.
- Knowledgeable about modern web UI frameworks like React and Angular.
- Experienced in leading QA/testing functions and implementing automation techniques for continuous quality improvement.
- Skilled in building high-throughput, low-latency web services using various protocols.
- Advanced understanding of client-server architecture and web paradigms such as REST and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Dependency Injection, and other relevant methodologies.
- Experience with various technology stacks, including web application development, middleware, integration, and enterprise architecture.
- Previous experience managing teams of engineers and leads.
