Position: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: New Delhi

Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, your focus will be on conducting research and development in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). You will be responsible for developing production-quality code for data product solutions at Chegg. Your role involves leading the identification and implementation of key projects for data processing and knowledge discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Translate product requirements into AIML/NLP solutions, leading the design and implementation of complex ML models and systems.
• Innovate and devise novel solutions for the given problem.
• Write high-quality, production-ready code.
• Design data and annotation collection strategies.
• Define key evaluation metrics and release requirements for data products.
• Integrate new data sources and design efficient workflows.
• Share insights, educate team members, and contribute to the community.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, experimentation, or related fields, with a specialization in NLP.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) catering to tasks such as text generation, Q&A, summarization, and translation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MLOPs and deployment pipelines is essential.
• Expertise in supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficient in data manipulation using SQL or NoSQL queries.
• Experience deploying real-time prediction services using containers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ML pipeline products like AWS Sagemaker, Google ML, or Databricks.
