It’s all about time….right now AAFT is doing well in terms of admissions in fields of Animation and Design, Art, Humanities and social sciences, Hospitality, Fashion, Cinema, Photography, Animation, Media, Mass – Communication, and Journalism. They are giving almost all the facilities to the students, no doubt they have spent a lot but the only thing that bothered me was that AAFT is affiliated with Noida International University (NIU), which is a private University that comes under tire 3 and can be banned and blacklisted by any govt.
It never came to my mind why faculties at AAFT get changed in mid of the semester and it’s not with one or two instances it happens quite frequently. I joined MSC in Cinema without informing my family members but came across one of my cousins who told me about how his life was ruined as he was studying at Rai University, which was shut down by its owner due to affiliation issues. It opened my eyes and I withdrew my admission from AAFT. This Institute is only running in the name of Mr Marwah and his elite connections with Bollywood and Politicians.
If connections end, so as the affiliation and degree, which will have no value. Think about that and choose the right path from the beginning. Everything needs to be validated before you take admission, it’s your future don’t spoil it by taking the wrong steps early.
It’s a very average kind of college with a very old college structure like we used to have in our small city with a Wi-Fi setup which is of no use as it rarely works. Our college is not yet ready for Data Science and yet they have started, seems like they have purchased an outdated course of data science from another institute, before anyone joins please connect with any old student or ask for the curriculum and cross-check with other data science courses. On top of that, they even don’t have sufficient teachers for data science, also you will find that the teachers get changed after 1 or 2 semesters. As I have told you guys Wifi is of name only and we have our Labs are built nicely but stuffed with outdated desktops that reflect as new but work as a Celeron, due to which we have to face lots of challenges while working on large data sets.
Lastly, our placement team has no experience or knowledge of Data Science placements, they are in the process of building connections and if they say that we had companies like Microsoft, etc along with the brochures…that’s a lie…
No, I graduated this year from this college, This college has so many issues…..
It made feel sick about this college so often….
I don’t know how can a college get affiliated by a private university and a deemed university. (Noida International University and Sobhit University)
Though they have started their own university at Chattisgarh from this year…
so think twice before taking admission in this college….
I attended AAFT for a media course, and while the facilities are impressive, I found the curriculum to be outdated. The practical training didn’t meet industry standards, and there was a noticeable lack of modern equipment and technology, which are crucial for a career in film and television.
No, AAFT is a scam. It is affiliated with Noida International University (NIU), a private university, and according to Indian law, private universities can’t have affiliated colleges. AAFT employs more admission counselors than professors, attracting students who can’t get into reputed colleges. NIU is run by a political party and is ranked low, with the risk of being blacklisted by the UGC. Sandeep Marwah, AAFT’s founder, has political connections that helped secure the affiliation. I enrolled for MSc in Cinema in 2013 but left due to its poor quality and completed my studies at Jadavpur University instead. Choose a reputed government university to avoid being scammed.
This isn’t a scam institute. For me, the fees are high, but if you’re serious about studying, you can learn a lot here. If you can get into a government institute, go for that, but if not, AAFT is a good option. Learning depends on your effort. There are good teachers, but don’t expect to learn everything automatically. You need to be proactive and put in the effort. Game design and development require a self-cultivated aesthetic sense; they can only teach you the technical aspects.
My experience was good as I loved their teaching method and I worked hard on my skills here to be good at game design.
