Job Description:
As a Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing algorithms and constructing systems to uncover hidden trends and insights from user-generated content, such as resumes, job descriptions, and profile data sourced from various channels, encompassing numeric, structured, and unstructured text and image formats.
- Identifying potential business challenges that can benefit from machine learning solutions.
- Brainstorming, defining metrics, and executing strategies to address these challenges, securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance user experience through personalization and predictive analytics.
- Creating intelligent systems to capture and analyze behavioral data, enriching content understanding.
- Selecting cutting-edge machine learning tools for tasks spanning natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, semantic search, and learning-to-rank (LTR) to develop accurate and scalable recommendation and information retrieval systems.
- Designing solutions for scalability and real-time performance on extensive datasets, leveraging big data technologies to optimize infrastructure and enhance performance.
- Engaging in external discussions, publishing research papers, staying abreast of the latest developments in the field, and building professional networks.
Required Skills:
- Profound understanding and research expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, information retrieval, and artificial intelligence.
- Extensive practical experience in applying machine learning techniques to address real-world business problems, spanning a wide array of algorithms covering classification, regression, discriminative, generative, supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning, as well as linear and non-linear dimensionality reduction, feature extraction, selection, and learning.
- Industry experience in implementing diverse machine learning solutions at scale to develop intelligent systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong research-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in managing, creating pipelines, and processing big data.
