I wanted to enroll in a good college at Delhi University, and I had certain preferences regarding the college environment and my classmates. Though I initially planned to study commerce, a teacher from MH suggested I opt for a B.A. in maths and economics instead of subjects like political science or history, which I wasn’t interested in. This decision allowed me to join a great college with subjects of my choice, albeit not in commerce. Despite being quiet and shy, I was drawn to MH, known for its independent-minded students. Walking into the college on my first day, I felt nervous about potential ragging, but I projected confidence to blend in. Fortunately, I escaped ragging and gradually began to appreciate the college’s vibrant atmosphere, with outspoken students and knowledgeable lecturers. I loved the teachers who were very supportive and open-minded. Over the years, MH transformed me, empowering me to discover my potential and embrace my true self. I’m proud to have been part of such an institution and cherish the wonderful experiences it provided.
