DataCamp and DataQuest offer free and premium courses, which is an intelligent way to begin the process. This format of free courses proves very constructive for students or working professionals who have no idea about DataScience and want to enter the world of Statistics, Python, R, and Machine learning. This way, Students/Working professionals/Not tech background students get a clarification of what they will be dealing with during the paid course or what sort of work will be expected from them while they work as a data scientist.
Almost all the service providers provide free courses now, which gives time to the students to digest the knowledge and provide time to decide if they want or they can proceed with the Premium paid course – to remind that out of the people who enroll for the data science courses usually 30%-35% drop as they find DataScience difficult or not relevant to their existing profile.
You will have to spare extra time to dedicate to self-paced courses offered by any institute.
