My purchase was a minidegree in digital analytics. They just eliminated the outdated content without adding any new courses to replace it, as opposed to updating the old content with fresh stuff. They insisted on purchasing a new course when asked. For example, advanced Google Analytics, intermediate Google Tag Manager, and many more were eliminated since they were out of date. However, they presented additional information as a separate course rather than substituting them. A minidegree can cost up to $600, and I nearly lost money on the current course since I would have to pay for it all over again if I wanted fresh information. This is ridiculous. The CXL authorities ought to revise their guidelines and include fresh material to the current minidegree membership in place of the outdated stuff. I don’t care if they remove my membership after seeing my review because I lost the money already.
Recently I have completed my digital marketing course from CXL but according to me it’s not worth it. I thing they should work on adding practical knowledge in their course. They should explain things practically doing rather than explaining in air. That’s not a correct manner to explain. I think their courses are meant to make fool and play with the career of many students. In current market they should understand the importance of digital marketing. As I am a student of BBA but I was not interested in sales so I decided to build career in digital marketing but, they played with my future am not gonna spare them anymore I will write a complaint letter and tell them to teach us properly else I am not going to pay their remaining fee.
I am sorry to say but the courses of CXL are a bit more expensive than they should have been as compared to the course curriculum. There is no doubt regarding a variety of courses available in the field of digital marketing. However, most of their courses are not up to date. Also, there is no value in their course completion certificates among the employers in the same domain. Instead of this, you can opt for any digital marketing courses from Udemy or Coursera. Its a total waste of time and money.
