The 5 start-ups underwent a three-month-long acceleration plan where they had been mentored by domain professionals and provided access to Maruti Suzuki’s data and facilities to fine-tune their business model.
Maruti Suzuki, that makes 1 in each and every 2 automobiles purchased in the country, announced mentorship for 5 start-ups in the automotive space included in its Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL) plan.
The 5 startups – Enmovil, SenseGiz, Xane, Eyedentify, and Docketrun – underwent a three-month-long acceleration plan where they had been mentored by domain professionals and provided use of Maruti Suzuki’s data and facilities to fine-tune the business model of theirs, the company said.
Following a presentation, the top 3 startups, SenseGiz, Xane, and Eyedentify, have been given sponsorship for creating the proof-of-concept with Maruti Suzuki. The additional 2 startups will be assisted in improving their proof-of-concept, the company said.
“Our aim is to now perform together with these startups and also enhance the scalability of the solutions. These intelligent solutions will help improve the consumer experience, among others,” stated Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director of Maruti Suzuki.
The initiative can help produce value additions in the aspects of logistics, IoT-based safety, and logistics, and then plug-and-play remedies, the company said.
