Government launches Start-up India Scheme for start-ups to protect their Intellectual Property Rights.

The Modi government has launched a dedicated mobile app and portal to assist Indian startups and SMEs with IPR Process.
The government Monday released a dedicated portal and mobile app to assist Indian start-ups using the intellectual property rights (IPR) procedure. The mobile app and website have been created by the division for the promotion of the industry and internal trade (DPIIT) together with the assistance of National Law University, Delhi and Qualcomm. These 2 dedicated resources for startups are aimed at assisting startups to master to guard and maximize their innovations. The website and app will be helpful for the startup group that keeps the excellent promise for the nation and the economy of the nation, said Guruprasad Mohapatra, secretary DPIIT.
“Startups are a lot more tuned into risk-taking and investment but lack legal knowledge,” stated Guruprasad Mohapatra, secretary, C.
